The name "Mo-Ra" has always been called awe-inspiring in water cooling circles because it is one of the most powerful radiators in the world. So if you want to cool a large number of components or are planning very ambitious OC experiments, the Mo-Ra is an adequate heat exchanger in a class of its own.
The manufacturer Watercool now offers the radiator in the third revision, which has been further improved. There are various models to choose from, which differ according to the equipment (LC / LT / PRO), the usable fan (120/140/180 mm) and the color or material (black / white / stainless steel). Thus, the Mo-Ra3 offers a wide range to find the individual dream model.
As before, it is a radiator for external use that is mounted directly on the housing or stands free. Internal installation is normally not possible due to the enormous dimensions. However, the enormous amount of material used is also the main reason for the extreme cooling performance, as there is an equally extreme surface available for heat dissipation.
Overall, the Mo-Ra3 offers an unbelievable lamellar surface, through which copper pipe flows four times in parallel in 72 rows. The lamellar geometry has been optimized for use with slowly rotating fans, so that the Mo-Ra3 is recommended for silent use. It is integrated into the water circuit using six G1 / 4 inch threads.
This is the black version of the 420 Pro. The slats are unpainted here, which optically goes very well with the black painted steel of the housing. The radiator is designed for use with 140 mm fans, nine of which are installed in a three-by-three arrangement. The Pro model also differs from the cheaper variants in that it can be mounted on both sides of the fan. This means that a total of 18 fans with a height of 25 mm can be installed and - if necessary, despite the low speed in each case - ensure extreme airflow.
In addition to the radiator, the scope of delivery includes 72 fan screws, spacers for mounting on the housing, four sealing plugs to seal the openings that are not required and installation instructions. The Mo-Ra3 is manufactured in Europe and, for the most part, in Germany itself.
