While the power supplies from the Seasonic Prime series rely on semi-passive operation with a fan, the Prime Fanless PX series uses a completely passive cooling system. This is only possible thanks to the sophisticated technology and extremely high energy efficiency of 80 PLUS Platinum. The result: Absolute silence despite high performance!

Despite the missing fan, you don't have to do without anything with the Seasonic Prime Fanless PX-500. High-end systems can also be supplied with a full 41 amps on the powerful 12-volt rail. The heat is dissipated via various perforated grids and normal air circulation.

The extremely high level of efficiency also played a key role in the technical implementation of the fanless design. This achieves up to 94 percent at 50 percent system load and is therefore awarded the 80 PLUS Platinum certificate. The Seasonic Prime Fanless PX-500 is designed extremely efficiently, which also results from the use of high-quality components - such as the capacitors. As a result, the heat loss to be dissipated is very low.

Due to the fully modular cable management, all cables are detachable and can therefore be used with maximum flexibility. A 20+4-pin and two 4+4-pin connectors are available for the mainboard. In addition, the Seasonic Prime Fanless PX-500 provides two 6+2 PCIe connections to operate more powerful graphics cards or smaller SLI/Crossfire systems.
