Logitech G PRO X Wireless Lightspeed Gaming Headset: Precise sound and low latency
With the help of the DTS Headphone: X 2.0 audio technology, the PRO X Wireless Lightspeed delivers 7.1 surround sound for detailed spatial sound images. Even stereo sound is converted into an immersive three-dimensional signal, making it easier to locate noises. To enable particularly precise localization, the technology renders incoming audio signals in near-field and far-field audio, so that the distance of a shot can be determined more precisely. The 50 mm neodymium magnet speakers support this with a wide frequency range and detailed bass reproduction.

The headset is connected using the supplied USB adapter. Thanks to the wireless LIGHTSPEED technology from Logitech G, the PRO X benefits from low latency and a high radio range of up to 15 m. It is therefore not statically bound to the audio source, but can be carried freely around the apartment when listening to music, for example. The removable microphone quickly converts the headset into discreet headphones. Thanks to the good battery life of up to 20 hours, it offers enough power for extensive gaming or music sessions.

Blue VO! CE microphone technology
The Blue VO! CE microphone technology is available via the G Hub gaming software and enables numerous setting options for individual fine-tuning of the voice as well as various presets. Voice recordings can also be made and checked here in order to adjust the sound down to the last detail.

Many professional filters are used here. A high-pass filter removes low-frequency noises below a target frequency so that, for example, annoying PC fans are not detected. In addition, an adjustable noise suppression is active, which eliminates other undesirable sources of noise. In order to make this suppression even more effective, the threshold value for activating the microphone is set just below the voice level using a so-called expander.

Unpleasant sibilants are filtered out by the de-esser and the limiter compresses the output of the audio signal in an infinite ratio so that it never exceeds the desired level. The built-in voice EQ emphasizes the pleasant aspects of the voice and attenuates the less pleasant. The interaction of these technologies enables clear communication even in noisy environments.

Comfortable and durable
The comfortable memory foam ear cushions and the headband are covered with soft synthetic leather and ensure a snug and comfortable fit. Alternatively, they can be exchanged for the even softer velor ear cushions that are included in the scope of delivery. Easily accessible buttons for muting the microphone and for switching the device on and off are located on the left auricle and provide visual feedback via integrated status LEDs. In between there is a rotary wheel for stepless volume control of the operating system.

The PRO X convinces with a subtle look in matt black and high-quality materials. The ear hook is made of sturdy steel and aluminum and can be precisely adjusted to the individual wearing position. Small notches on the bracket ensure a firm hold in the desired position. Clearly legible lettering in dark gray letters (L and R) is printed on the ear cups. This ensures easy orientation when putting on the headset. The headphones can be charged using the 1.8 m long cable supplied and stowed in the practical transport bag if necessary.
