LANCOOL II Mesh Performance: Midi tower for air and water cooling
With the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance, Lian Li gives this popular midi tower an update and equips it with an additional USB 3.1 Type C port on the I/O panel. The midi tower continues to impress with its chic design and innovative details. The basis of the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance is a stable steel construction with a completely removable front cover and pivoting side panels made of tempered glass and steel. The interior offers space for dual and triple radiators, up to nine drives and powerful hardware.

Anyone who relies on classic air cooling will really enjoy this case, because the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance offers options for installing a total of eight fans. Three 120 or two 140 fans can be attached behind the fine-meshed mesh front, two models up to 140 millimeters in size can be attached to the lid, two 120 mm fans can be installed on removable supports on the power supply cover and a 120 millimeter case fan can be mounted on the rear wall of the midi Towers are attached. Two 140 millimeter fans in the front and one 120 millimeter fan on the rear wall of the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance are pre-installed ex works. A maximum height of 176 millimeters is intended for CPU coolers.

The manufacturer has also thought about installing complete and custom water cooling systems: a 360 triple radiator or a 280 dual radiator can be attached to the front. A removable bracket makes installation easier. This can be mounted in two different ways to provide up to 110 millimeters of space for heat exchangers and fans or to move the fans further away from the front cover with a narrower radiator. A 240 radiator can be mounted on the lid. Lian Li is planning a total depth of 65 millimeters here.

Chic and functional design
The LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance has been specifically optimized with a view to cooling powerful hardware and offers numerous air inlets: The previously smooth front cover of the case is now almost entirely made of mesh. The manufacturer's name shines as an aluminum plaque on the lower edge. The back and the bottom of the case have generous ventilation openings. The lid is equipped with a magnetic dust filter and the dust filter is located under the power supply in a slot. This means that all filters are removable and can be easily cleaned.

But the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance has a lot to offer both functionally and visually: The outer panels are in two parts: The two upper side walls are made of tempered glass on a steel frame. These are attached to hinges on the back of the case and fold back when opened. However, Lian Li managed to pull off a special trick when closing it, as the side doors close magnetically.

The bottom side panels cover the area under the power supply cover. They open downwards and are made of sheet steel, with the cover on the left side of the housing on the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance also being an air-permeable mesh surface. Additional covers on the back of the motherboard tray ensure that most cables remain hidden from the prying eye.

Plenty of space for components and drives
The interior is finished in black and offers plenty of space for powerful hardware, such as E-ATX motherboards up to 280 millimeters wide and high-performance gaming graphics cards up to 384 millimeters long. The LANCOOL II Mesh Performance offers space for a total of nine drives.

Two 2.5-inch SSDs can be mounted on individual carriers on the back of the motherboard tray. The right cover panel accommodates two additional 2.5-inch drives on the inside and two 2.5-inch drives can be attached to the two removable carriers on the power supply cover, but then no fans. Under the power supply cover of the LANCOOL II Mesh Performance there is a drive cage for three 3.5 or 2.5 inch drives, which can be freely positioned to provide more space for the radiator or power supply. A depth of up to 210 millimeters is provided for the ATX power supply.

In addition to a USB 3.1 Type C port, the I/O panel of the LANCOOL II Mesh C Performance offers two USB 3.0 Type A ports and a four-pin 3.5 millimeter jack socket for headsets. In addition to the power and reset buttons, the controls also include a four-stage slider for the fan control, which allows you to connect and control up to six fans with 3-pin or 4-pin plugs.
Danger! The manufacturer points out that 140 or 280 radiators must under no circumstances be mounted towards the inside of the radiator bracket, otherwise it can be bent. Please note the instructions in the instructions.
