Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus: high-end sound card with Dolby Digital Live and DTS-Connect
At the heart of the Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus is the high-resolution Sabre32 digital-to-analog converter with a signal-to-noise ratio of 122 dB, a resolution of up to 32-bit / 384 kHz, which provides the basis for high-quality sound. But all other components and signal paths are of the highest quality and shielded against interference frequencies by the black EMI shield.
The headphone amplifier offers two separate channels for left and right, which is reflected in a particularly high fidelity and responds to both low and high impedance headphones. The analog 5.1 surround sound with Dolby Digital Live and DTS coding ensures a spatial sound experience. Virtual 7.1 sound can also be output on headphones and speakers.
RGB lighting and software features
The Sound BlasterX AE-5 Plus offers chic RGB LED lighting with 16.8 million colors. In addition, the included RGB strip with a length of 30 centimeters can be connected to the sound card. The power consumption is via a 4-pin Molex connection. The lighting can be controlled by software.
The Sound Blaster Acoustic Engine software suite also enables extensive sound adaptation with equalizers, surround effects or specific sound profiles for individual games. A special feature for FPS gamers is the revised Scout Radar 2.0, which can be used to locate enemies via noise.
