The Club 3D USB cable has a USB-C connector on both ends and supports USB4 (Gen 3x2). This standard achieves maximum data transmission speeds of up to 40 Gbit / s. The cable also supports Power Delivery, with which peripheral devices can be charged with up to 100 watts. It is backwards compatible with Thunderbolt 3, USB 3.2, 3.1, 3.0 and 2.0, but this requires a separately available adapter.

Thanks to the support of the PCI-Express and DisplayPort protocol, the cable enables the operation of a monitor with a maximum resolution of 8,192 x 4,320 at 60 Hz. USB4 supports protocol tunneling, which intelligently manages the available bandwidth of the system. This means that peripheral devices are only given as much bandwidth as they actually need. This enables the system to make unused capacity available elsewhere and thus, for example, significantly accelerate data traffic with an external hard drive.
