This standard achieves maximum data transmission speeds of up to 10 Gbit / s. The cable also supports Power Delivery, which can be used to charge peripheral devices with up to 60 watts. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0, but requires a separately available adapter. Thanks to the factory support for DisplayPort, the connection to a monitor can be established via the cable.
