The USB-C slot is joined by two type A USB ports. All three support the USB 3.0 (USB 3.2 Gen1) standard with a maximum transmission speed of 5 Gbyte / s. The USB Type-C port also supports Power Delivery 3.0. This can be used to charge a laptop with the same standard, for example, provided a corresponding charger is connected to the multiport hub.
A monitor can be connected to the integrated HDMI 1.4a port and operated with a maximum resolution of 4,096 x 2,160 pixels (4K) at 30 Hz. To do this, the HMC-6M2 COMBO 6in1 must be connected to a combined USB-C DisplayPort or Thunderbolt 3 connection on the notebook. Of course, the HDMI port supports all audio standards that are also made available with a directly integrated HDMI port. Since the connection also supports HDCP 2.3, copy-protected films can also be played on a closed screen.
The highlight of this multiport hub, however, is the integrated M-Key connection for M.2 SATA SSDs inside. It accepts compact memory cards with a size of up to 2280 but without a capacity limit. The cards can also be equipped with memory on both sides. Thanks to the support of SATA III alias 6G, the maximum data transfer speed is 6 GByte / s. Finally, there is an RJ45 slot for the integrated Gigabit LAN with Wake-On-LAN. The data from the network is transferred to the computer via the USB-C port on the hub.
