The ASUS ROG Thor 1200P2 invokes the powers of the god of the same name and summons a whopping 1,000 watts. With its platinum classification, it is one of the most efficient power supplies on the market. The use for this is clear: it wants to provide ambitious gaming PCs with enough power. It remains as quiet as possible, is fully modular and has the semi-passive mode.

The striking black and silver aluminum housing with RGB accents and OLED display enhances every gaming case. The ROG logo is illuminated and the Thor emblem makes for a special eye-catcher. The OLED display is not only an eye-catcher, but also a witness to the power consumption, which it plays back in real time.

But the sophistication in design does not end here. As you can see, the upper surface consists of a fine-mesh fan grille. It ensures a high air flow and thus promotes the dissipation of heat. But it doesn't have to do that alone: it gets support from a 135mm PWM fan. Together they ensure an almost inaudible and optimal cooling of the components.

The high-end power supply naturally uses 105°C-certified Japanese capacitors. The wireless internal design also contributes to improved cooling performance and component life expectancy.
