Pure Rock 2: Powerful and quiet
The be quiet! Pure Rock 2 offers a cooling capacity of up to 150 watts TDP and is therefore also suitable for powerful desktop processors from Intel and AMD's portfolio. Four copper heatpipes, each with a diameter of six millimeters, are located on the CPU for efficient heat dissipation.
The heat pipes transfer the waste heat to numerous aluminum fins. These are cooled by a 120-millimeter fan from the manufacturer's Pure Wings 2 series. Thanks to the flow-optimized fan blades and PWM signal, this ensures the right balance between smooth running and performance. At a maximum speed of 1,500 rpm, it is still quiet with a volume of 26.8 decibels.
The cover plate of the be quiet! Pure Rock 2 is made of brushed aluminum. The asymmetrical design of the heat sink ensures that the working memory banks are not covered and this cooler harmonizes in combination with any high RAM modules. The mounting system of the 15.5 centimeter high CPU cooler is suitable for the Intel sockets 1200, 2066, 115X and 2011 (-3) as well as the AMD sockets AM4 and AM3 (+).
