The case offers plenty of space for high-performance hardware and some radiators. Thanks to the large side panel and the tempered glass front, you can marvel at both the built-in components and the three pre-installed ARGB LED fans. A suitable ARGB controller is also included and enables the control of up to four fans as well as synchronization with compatible mainboards. The side panel is mounted on two hinges and can therefore be opened with just one movement for easy maintenance.

Zalman Z8 TG: stylish midi tower with plenty of space for fans and good airflow
Zalman equips the Z8 TG with extensive options for placing case fans. A total of up to six 120 or five 140 mm fans can be distributed in the case: three 120 or 140 mm fans on the front, two 120 or two 140 mm fans on the cover and one 120 mm on the rear wall. In addition, two additional 120 or 140 mm fans can be installed in the floor. To do this, however, the two SSD brackets pre-assembled there must be dispensed with. Processor coolers are supported up to a maximum height of 160 mm.
Four 120 mm fans are pre-installed from the factory. Three of the fans are equipped with addressable RGB LEDs. These are controlled via the supplied ARGB controller. Various modes can be selected using a button. A synchronization with an RGB-Sync-capable mainboard is also possible via the 3-pin connector with 5V header. This means that the housing is uniformly illuminated and stylishly presented.
If you prefer to install a custom or complete water cooling system instead, the Z8 TG has a lot to offer: A 120 single radiator can be attached to the front and rear wall, and a dual radiator with 240 or 280 mm in the lid .
This makes it ideal for AiO water cooling of the CPU in combination with the pre-installed fans. Despite the solid tempered glass front, the wide ventilation slots ensure a good supply of fresh air, which means that the built-in components can be reliably cooled. Removable dust filters are integrated in the top panel and below the power supply slot for easy cleaning.
Plenty of space for drives and numerous connections
The Zalman Z8 TG offers the possibility to accommodate numerous drives in it. In the supplied modular drive cage, two 3.5 / 2.5-inch drives can be mounted without tools. A total of four additional 2.5-inch SSDs can be accommodated on the back of the mainboard tray and in the bottom of the main chamber.
The I / O panel of the Zalman Z8 TG is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port. There are also two 3.5 mm jack sockets, one of which acts as a headphone output and the other as a microphone input. In addition to the reset and power button, there is also a button to control the LED lighting. Two additional LEDs provide information about the activity of drives and the operating status.
Optimized design and clever details
The front of the midi tower is particularly noticeable. The entire front of the Z8 TG is made of tempered glass and offers an unobstructed view of the pre-installed ARGB-LED fans. In this way, conscious color accents are set in the otherwise discreet housing. The left side panel is also made of tempered glass and elegantly displays the built-in components. It is mounted on two hinges and can therefore be opened with just one movement for easy maintenance.
The housing is completely black to match. The power supply slot ensures a tidy interior, as it skilfully conceals the power supply unit and its connection cables. A hinged cover is installed on the back of the mainboard tray. This hides the cables running here and also ensures that the side panel can be easily attached. Unruly cables can be comfortably tamed with the cover. There are seven horizontal slots for expansion cards on the back of the case.
