The case offers plenty of space for high-performance hardware and some radiators. The built-in components can be admired through the large side panel made of tempered glass and the mesh front ensures excellent airflow.

Zalman Z1 PLUS: Midi-Tower with plenty of space for fans and strong airflow
Zalman equips the Z1 PLUS with extensive options for the placement of case fans. A total of up to eight 120 mm fans can be distributed in the housing: Up to three 120 mm fans on the front, two 120 or two 140 mm fans on the cover and one 120 mm on the rear wall. In addition, two additional 120 mm fans can be installed in the floor. Three 120 mm fans are preinstalled at the factory. Processor coolers are supported up to a maximum height of 163 mm.

If you prefer to install a custom or complete water cooling system instead, the Z1 PLUS has a lot to offer: a 240 mm radiator can be attached to the front and a radiator up to 280 mm in the lid. The mesh front ensures an efficient supply of fresh air, which means that the built-in components can be reliably cooled. Removable dust filters are integrated in the top panel and below the power supply slot for easy cleaning.

Plenty of space for drives and numerous connections
The Zalman Z1 PLUS offers the possibility to accommodate numerous drives in it. Two 3.5-inch drives can be mounted in the drive cage without tools. A total of three 2.5-inch SSDs can be accommodated on the back of the mainboard tray and in the bottom of the main chamber. The front can accommodate an external 5.25-inch drive and is equipped with a removable slot cover.

The I / O panel of the Zalman Z1 PLUS is equipped with two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port. There are also two 3.5 mm jack sockets, one of which acts as a headphone output and the other as a microphone input. In addition to the reset and power button, there is also a button to control the LED lighting. Two small LEDs provide information about the activity of drives and the operating status.

Optimized design and clever details
The front of the midi tower is particularly noticeable. The entire front of the Z1 PLUS is designed in mesh design and thus offers excellent airflow. The air can pass through the perforated surface almost unhindered and thus contributes to a low operating temperature. The left side panel is made of tempered glass and allows an unobstructed view of the built-in hardware.

The case is completely black to match. The power supply slot ensures a tidy interior, as it skilfully conceals the power supply unit and its connection cables. There are seven horizontal slots for expansion cards on the back of the case.
