Since the market launch of the first Heatkiller CPU waterblock in 2001, the model series has been continuously improved and optimized by Watercool. The Heatkiller IV Pro AMD represents the most extensive further development to date.

Sophisticated technology keeps the CPU cool
The biggest overhaul compared to its predecessors was the cooling structure of the Heatkiller IV. Thanks to refined microfins, the cooling medium now has a significantly larger contact surface with the cooler, where the heat transfer takes place. But the flow behavior has also been further optimized by enlarged nozzles. Compared to the previous model, these improvements have increased the cooling capacity by up to 3 ° C.

The flow also benefits from the optimization measures, especially since Watercool has integrated large-volume collecting channels in the Heatkiller IV Pro AMD. The water cooler, which is made entirely of nickel-plated copper and has a very attractive design, has an impressive high-flow design, which also makes it the perfect partner for less powerful pumps.

Easy construction
The new cooling structure of the Watercool Heatkiller IV Pro AMD, which is offered here in the high-end "Pro" version, works entirely without a nozzle plate. The waiver increases the passive failure safety of the cooler, since with this concept fewer dirt particles can accumulate in the cooling structure. A lot has also happened in terms of equipment.

The Heatkiller IV Pro has a comfortable easy-mount system. After the initial installation, the processor cooler can be dismantled or mounted at any time without tools on mainboards with AMD sockets 939, 940, AM2, AM2 +, AM3, AM3 +, FM2, FM2 +, AM4. You don't even have to remove the mainboard for this. The mounting system specifies the contact forces. Incorrect assembly is almost impossible.

Note: Some coolers are delivered with a protective film on the bottom. This must be removed in any case before assembly and commissioning.
