The biggest revision compared with their predecessors learned the Heatkiller IV the cooling structure. Thanks to sophisticated micro fins the cooling medium is now a much larger contact surface to the cooler available, at which the heat transfer takes place. But the flow behavior has been further optimized. Compared to its predecessor, the cooling capacity could be increased again by as much as 3 degrees Celsius by these improvements.

Also, the flow benefits from the optimization measures, especially Watercool has integrated large volume exported collecting ducts during Heatkiller IV. The silver-plated copper with ground black acetal top and stainless steel fittings and visually very attractively designed water cooler has an impressive high-flow design, which also makes him the perfect partner for less powerful pumps.

The new cooling structure of the Water Heatkiller IV, which is offered here in the high-end version "Pro" is the way entirely without nozzle plate. The waiver increases the passive fail-safety of the cooler, as can accumulate less debris in the cooling structure in this concept. Even with the equipment a lot has changed.

So the Heatkiller has IV Pro as well as Basic now has a comfortable Easy-mount system. After initial installation, the CPU cooler can at any time without tools on Intel motherboards with the bases in 2011 (V3), 115X or 1366 disassemble or assemble. This product is delivered without the necessary connections and without thermal compound. These are therefore sold separately. For Intel motherboard with sockets LGA1150, 1155 or 1156 Watercool offers an additional, optional to be acquired Stainless steel backplate to (WACP-249 in Dealer-range), which improves the fit and stability of Heatkiller IV.
