The raven-black housing externally combines a sublime, elegant style with light futuristic bonds, which is characteristic of the bird. With a weight of only 4.05 kg, the RVZ03B is almost feisty for an impressive performance housing. The rugged steel body of the feature-packed lightweight is complemented by the comfortable removable sides of reinforced plastic.

The easy-to-access I / O panel behind a flap on the front provides audio input and output as well as two USB 3.0 ports. The RVZ03B Raven is not only black as a raven, but also cleverly built for it. The removal of the side parts frees the view of the interior, which is divided into two sections. In the upper area the mainboard as well as the power supply are accommodated, while graphics card and up to four 2.5-inch data storage are accommodated in the lower area.

The area above the motherboard in the mini-ITX format is not obstructed in order to allow the installation of quiet yet cool CPU heatsinks with low profile (up to 83 mm height).

As with the legendary predecessors, the RVZ03B Raven also features a PCIe riser card, which is the assembly of a full-fledged gaming graphics card up to 33 cm in length, and a maximum of 14.9 cm in width in a 90 ° angle to the mainboard. Where other enclosures with a comparable format often end with medium-class graphics cards, Silverstone provides the highest possible computing power and shows that the Raven HTPC case is and remains a class of its own.

Silverstone relies on passive cooling of the small space saver, which is made possible, among other things, by the clever separation of the two largest heat sources. As already mentioned, the graphics card is installed with a PCIe riser cable in a severed area provided with a large ventilation grid, and the processor as well as the power supply in the second chamber have their own grating air. The two grid surfaces are mounted on opposite sides of the housing.

The Raven can be positioned horizontally or vertically and has many design enhancements to the predecessor, so now also an RGB illumination is integrated, which supports several modes.
