With its 750 watts total output power, the Seasonic CONNECT also supplies power-hungry high-end PCs with power. The powerful 12-volt rail delivers a whopping 62 A. Despite this impressive data, the Seasonic CONNECT is designed to be extremely efficient, which also results from the use of high-quality components - such as the capacitors. The power supply, certified with 80 PLUS Gold, achieves an efficiency of up to 92% at a load of 50%.

The special feature of the CONNECT is the external connection strip, which can be positioned anywhere in the housing and to which the connection cables for the mainboard, graphics cards and drives are plugged. A single cable goes from it to the power pack. The 33 centimeter long connector strip can be attached in front of the mainboard or along the drive cage, for example. Adhesive and magnetic feet are included. In addition to a 24-pin and two 4+4-pin cables, the Seasonic CONNECT offers four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors as well as eight SATA and three 4-pin Molex connectors. An adapter is also included that converts a Molex connector into two SATA power connectors. The cables are very flat and can be easily laid.

The built-in 135 mm fan has a smooth-running hydrodynamic plain bearing and therefore not only promises quiet operation, but is also particularly durable. A switch on the back of the power supply can also be used to choose between automatic fan control with or without passive mode. This is particularly noticeable in the noise development and the maximum possible cooling capacity, depending on how much the power supply is currently being used.

With OPP, OVP, UVP, OCP, OTP and SCP, the Seasonic CONNECT Gold has all the necessary protective circuits that modern high-end power supplies naturally have to offer.
