The Polaris-10 Pro graphics chip Radeon RX 470 has 32 Compute Units with 2,048 shader units. The GPU of the Radeon RX 470 4G is clocked at an average value of 932 MHz and boosts when required on 1.216 MHz. The 4 GB of video memory type GDDR5 clocked at 3,500 MHz (7,000 MHz) and are connected with a 256-bit memory interface to the GPU (graphics chip).

Monitors can be connected via DisplayPort or HDMI to the graphics card. By Eyefinity technology up to four monitors can be connected in a multi-display setup. The HDMI connection in standard 2.0b transmits 4K / UHD resolution at 60 hertz and has HDCP 2.2 to send and receive encrypted signals.

In order to exploit the full potential of the card in the future, new drivers should be downloaded and installed from AMD or Sapphire periodically.
