Perfect use of space thanks to a well thought out concept
With extremely compact dimensions of only 174 x 290 x 375 millimeters (W x H x D), the Ophion EVO by Raijintek is graceful, but inside, you can build a lot of powerful hardware. That despite this size format, a complete gaming PC can be installed in it, is achieved by a well thought-out concept and a gimmick: The graphics card is mounted in parallel behind the Mini-ITX motherboard in a separate chamber and a total of almost every square centimeter in the steel interior of the Raijintek Ophion EVO made good use of, while in ordinary tower cases mostly unnecessary space prevails. Smaller a gaming PC can hardly be built!

As big as a game console, but massively more powerful
From the outside, the innovative Winzling impresses with its ascetic design, along with a flawless processing of the anodized aluminum in black. The 2-millimeter thick metal and the chic hairline finish reveal a distinctive look. The sturdy metal is complemented by the two sides made of 3-millimeter-thick tempered glass, which not only give the Raijintek Ophion EVO an extraordinary appearance, but also allow an unobstructed view of the interior and the hardware installed therein.

On the simple front of the Ophion EVO, apart from the power button with the Raijintek logo, there are only two unaccompanied USB ports with an internal mainboard connection. In addition to the Type A USB 3.0 port, Raijintek also has a modern Type C USB 3.0 port.

The clever cooling concept is similarly spartan. The airflow is from bottom to top. On the floor, an optional 120mm fan for fresh air supply, which is carried on the cover by two other optional 120 mm fan back to the outside. The resulting breeze cools both the main chamber with motherboard and processor and the rear chamber in which the graphics card is housed. The back and lid are made of aluminum with generous vent holes, while the tempered-glass side panels with spacers are attached to the casing with thumbscrews to help supply cool air. The Ophion EVO even has enough space for a 240mm radiator, which can be attached to the lid instead of the two 120mm fans.

Supports high-end, high-end graphics cards thanks to the riser module
Inside, a mini-ITX motherboard can be accommodated on the right side, where a CPU can be kept at a temperature of up to 90 millimeters with a processor cooler. Flat top blower coolers are completely sufficient due to the ever decreasing TDP of modern processors for cooling. Alternatively, of course, an AiO can be used. A riser adapter ("to rise") redirects the PCI Express x16 slot on the mainboard to the left side of the case, which can accommodate up to 330 millimeter long and 55 millimeter high gaming pixel accelerators and connected with full 16 lanes via PCI Express.

The power of the mini-gaming system ensures a power supply in the conventional ATX standard with a depth of up to 160 mm, which is mounted in front of the motherboard. The wiring harness then projects upwards into the housing. An extension for the power cord leads to the corresponding connector on the back of the case. Of course, you can also use the more compact SFX or SFS power supplies instead.
