Almost a matter of course that inside the Raijintek Eris Evo you can install a mainboard in the SSI-EEB form factor for dual CPU setups. However, it is unusual to be able to mount two Mini-ITX mainboards side by side, for example for powerful streaming systems. Graphics cards up to 51.2 centimeters long can be accommodated in the Raijintek Eris Evo. Four dual-slot graphics cards fit horizontally to the eight PCI slots. Alternatively, two dual-slot cards can be installed vertically, a corresponding bracket is included with the case.

The hardware can be powered by a total of two ATX power supplies, which also find space in the housing. The modular structure of the power supply cover is striking. The front panel can be unscrewed for quick access to the cables of the power supplies, which are installed transversely. A cover for the second power supply slot is also included if only one PSU is required. As an alternative to one power supply unit, there is an HDD cage that can accommodate two 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch data carriers. Another data carrier in both sizes can be attached to the back of the mainboard tray.

Various cooling options in the Raijintek Eris Evo
The layout of the housing was specially designed for the installation of water cooling and can elegantly showcase it. Radiators with a length of up to an enormous 600 millimeters and a depth of 65 millimeters have space on the front and rear. A radiator with a length of up to 480 millimeters and a depth of 65 millimeters can be attached to the lid. A radiator with a length of 360 millimeters and a depth of 30 millimeters can even be mounted on the back of the mainboard tray. Four large cut-outs in the partition between the front chamber and the rear of the mainboard tray allow hard tubes to be laid in the rear area of the tower. The space between the motherboard tray and the front can be used for the installation of pumps and expansion tanks, but limits the available space for graphics cards depending on the size.

If you want to rely on air cooling instead, you also have a variety of options. Up to five 120 mm, four 140 mm or even three 200 mm fans can be attached to the front and rear. There are slots for six 120 mm fans behind the mainboard tray. There is space for four 120 or 140 fans on the lid. Their RGB LEDs can then be admired through the side parts made of four millimeter thick tempered glass. There is also enough space for CPU coolers at 170 millimeters.

The front made of three millimeter thick, brushed aluminum in a unique design, like the tempered glass side panels, is mounted remotely to ensure an almost unimpeded airflow. Another special feature is the modular I / O panel with four USB 3.0 slots and HD audio. It can be attached to a total of ten slots at the top, front or rear, or on the left and right, front and rear.
