The Noctua U14S DX-4677 CPU air cooler in detail
Noctua's DX series CPU coolers have been the first choice for years when it comes to quiet, premium cooling solutions for Intel Xeon processors. The U14S DX-4677 has a larger, specially adapted contact area for LGA 4677.

Increased contact area
The all-copper contact area of the DX-4677 version is 70 x 56 mm, more than twice as large as that of the standard model. It was specially adapted for the oversized heat spreaders (IHS) of Intel's LGA4677-based processors and enables optimal heat transfer from the CPU to the cooler base and further via the heat pipes to the cooling fins.

140mm format for excellent performance and compatibility
With six heat pipes, a dissipation area of more than 6000 cm² and two large-format NF-A15 140mm fans, the NH-U14S DX-4677 achieves superior cooling performance. This makes it an excellent choice for Xeon-based high-end workstations that need to operate almost silently despite extreme application performance.

Two NF-A15 140mm premium fans
The NH-U14 DX-4677 is equipped with two of the award-winning NF-A15 140mm fans. This highly efficient push/pull dual configuration enables unrivaled silent cooling performance, making the NH-U14 DX-4677 the first choice for workstations that simply need the best cooler.

PWM support and Y-cable
The renowned NF-A15 premium fans of the NH-U14S DX-4677 support PWM for convenient automatic speed control by the motherboard. This means that the fans can run almost silently at low loads and only turn up when it is really necessary.

SecuFirm2 mounting system with Intel standard parts
By integrating standard Intel parts such as the anti-tilt mechanism, Torx T30 PEEK nuts as well as the LGA4677 processor holding frames (CPU carrier frames, included with boxed CPUs, sold separately for tray CPUs), the cooler's mounting system is completely compliant the Intel guidelines and follows the assembly process familiar to experienced LGA4677 users. A Torx T30 assembly tool is included.

Note: Please note that the NH-U14S DX-4677 is a dedicated version for the Intel LGA 4677 socket. Due to the custom-made, larger contact area, the cooler cannot be used on smaller bases and is not compatible with Noctua's mounting systems for these bases.
