The ULN version allows their super-slow speed options (800/600rpm) a near-silent operation and is therefore perfect for ultra-low noise applications and particularly noise sensitive users. The ULN (Ultra-Low-Noise) version with the included adapter provides 800rpm and 600rpm settings and is perfectly suited for silent enthusiasts who demand super-slow speeds and minimal noise.

The NF-S12A is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua-grade SSO-bearing system. SSO2 in the rear magnet is closer to the fan axis, causing an even better stability, which leads to a further improvement in precision and durability.
