The further developed SSO2 premium bearingguarantees quiet operation and a long service life. Because of the PWM functionality, its speed can be regulated directly from the mainboard. A PWM control chip NE-FD1 developed by Noctua is used here. This allows the fan to work very quietly and energy-efficiently, especially in the lowest speed range. In addition, the fan has exchangeable anti-vibration pads made of silicone on the corners to minimize noise.
