Noctua NF-A20 PWM fan - 200mm [NF-A20 PWM]

Noctua is one of the well-known names in the silent cooling sector, with the Austrian manufacturer's CPU coolers in particular enjoying an excellent reputation. They combine excellent processing quality with high cooling performance and minimal noise development. The self-developed fans from Noctua, which are also available separately to serve as case or CPU fans, are largely responsible for this.

The NF-A20 is a premium 200mm silent fan with AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimization) frame and multiple hole spacing of 154 x 154mm, 110 x 180mm and 170 x 170mm. The award-winning A series is now available for the first time in 200 mm format, continues to deliver high cooling performance and achieves even better silent performance thanks to advanced, aerodynamic design measures such as flow acceleration channels.

Noctua's specially designed PWM IC for fully automatic speed control and the SSO2 reference class bearing guarantee superb smoothness and outstanding long-term stability. The modular cabling, the low-noise adapter and a 6-year manufacturer's guarantee make the NF-A20 a top solution for the highest demands.

The impeller of the NF-A20 is equipped with so-called Flow Acceleration Channels on the suction side. By accelerating airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades, suction-side vortex shedding is reduced, resulting in higher efficiency and lower turbulence-related noise emissions.

Noctua's AAO (Advandced Acoustic Optimization) frames have integrated vibration buffers as well as a stepped inlet area (Stepped Inlet Design) and an inner microstructure (Inner Surface Microstructures), which enable even better performance/noise efficiency.

The anti-vibration pads made of extra-soft silicone reduce the transmission of the smallest vibrations and are also compatible with all standard screws and commercially available mounting systems or fan clips used with CPU coolers.

The NF-A20 PWM supports fully automatic speed control via PWM and uses Noctua's new, specially designed NE-FD1 chip. This new PWM IC integrates Noctua's Smooth Commutation Drive (SCD) technology, which minimizes PWM switching noise and makes the fan even quieter at low speeds.

The NF-A20 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua's proven SSO bearing system. With SSO2, the rear magnet sits closer to the fan axis for even better stabilization, resulting in further improved precision and durability.

Despite its high performance, the power consumption of the NF-A20 is only 0.96W, which can be considered very low. So the NF-A20 is not only environmentally friendly, but also helps you to reduce the electricity bill!
