The PC-Q50 is small and compact with a height of only 28.5 cm (when mounted vertically). The ventilation is made possible by the generous mesh inserts on the front, top and bottom as well as on one side of the cube. Set up horizontally, the surfaces form the front and side surfaces. With its versatile mesh openings, the PC-Q50 is designed for active ventilation and already comes with a pre-installed fan - a 120mm fan that provides ventilation on the topside (in a vertical position). Due to the largely solid side surfaces, which in turn form the top and bottom sides in a horizontal position, the case looks very elegant and unified - no matter how it is set up.

Like all Lian Li cases, the PC-Q50 is made entirely of aluminum. This allows a low total weight, while maintaining high stability. In addition, the optics also benefit from the brushed structure of the aluminum, which perfectly fits the case into sophisticated multimedia environments.

The front is reduced to the essentials and houses only the centrally placed power button. The I / O panel, with its two USB 3.0 Type A and one USB 3.1 Type C and two audio connectors, is placed on the top or right side panel, depending on the PC-Q50 was set up. Thus, they do not disturb the tidy appearance of the case and are still easily accessible.

Inside, the PC-Q50 can accommodate two 3.5-inch drives in the drive cage. On the side wall can be additionally installed two 2.5-inch drives.
