Still, it offers plenty of space and support for powerful gaming hardware behind its tempered glass side panel. Compared to the original, there are also innovations, for example in the form of two pre-installed 120 mm PWM fans. The Stronghold M Micro-ATX case focuses entirely on the hardware, which can be set up cleanly thanks to the two-chamber design.
The features of the Kolink Stronghold M Micro-ATX case at a glance:
Compact Micro-ATX version of the Kolink bestseller The Stronghold
Tempered glass side panel for presenting the components
Space for 330 mm long graphics cards
Space for AiOs with radiators up to 240 mm long
Two pre-installed 120mm PWM fans and slots for four more
Power supply cover and curved side panel for optimal cable management
Micro but big
With the ever-increasing popularity of the Micro-ATX form factor, Kolink has decided to create a dedicated, compact version of the bestselling The Stronghold. Made of steel and plastic, this case features a left-side tempered glass panel to showcase your hardware. With its slim shape and brushed look, the case looks good on any desk.
Like its bigger brother, the Kolink Stronghold M has two integrated 120 mm fans, but they are included here as PWM versions for better control over speed and cooling performance. One of them is installed on the back, the other on the front. Four additional 120 mm fans can also be accommodated. There is also space for a CPU cooler with a height of 160 mm to bring the hardware to optimal temperatures. Alternatively, a radiator with a length of 240 mm can be installed on the front.
For gaming hardware
Despite its compact shape, the Kolink Stronghold M can accommodate plenty of powerful hardware thanks to its sophisticated design. A Micro-ATX or an even smaller Mini-ITX mainboard can be attached to a black background and expansion cards can be attached to a total of four PCI slots on the back. Graphics cards can be up to 330 mm long, enough space for most currently available models.
Drive bays are available for two 3.5" or 2.5" drives and two 2.5" disks to give you maximum flexibility when planning the storage space you need. The I/O panel is also well equipped and offers three USB ports, two audio ports, a reset button and a power button. All connections are black and blend perfectly into the outer shell.
A tidy interior
A key feature of the Kolink Stronghold M is its power supply cover. On the one hand, it serves to isolate the waste heat from the optional ATX power supply and, on the other hand, ensures clean cable management. The right side panel is also slightly curved. This means that cables from the power supply can be easily routed to all relevant places in the housing, ensuring a tidy look inside. Magnetic dust filters are attached to the lid and bottom of the housing to protect the interior from dirt.
Compact and light
With its dimensions of 185 mm x 400 mm x 385 mm, the Stronghold M stands almost like a midi tower, but without dominating the desk. This robust but lightweight housing weighs just 4.2 kg.
