Following numerous customer suggestions, the airflow and heat dissipation were optimized by integrating additional ventilation slots and recesses in the aluminum chassis. With plenty of space for powerful gaming hardware, the Kolink Rocket Heavy Vented can be transformed into a sophisticated gaming PC despite its small form factor.

There is always room for improvement, including the Kolink Rocket Heavy Vented Mini-ITX case, a new edition of the popular Rocket Heavy model. According to customer feedback, both ventilation and airflow have been improved.

Instead of providing both sides with tempered glass as before, the left side is made of three millimeter thick aluminum with the same hexagonal recesses as can be found on the front. This not only looks chic, but also significantly improves the airflow, especially around the important graphics card. The right side is still made of tempered glass and offers a comprehensive view of the interior and the built-in high-end gaming hardware. The two panels can also be swapped.

Overall, the chassis has been optimized in every nook and cranny to optimize airflow and cooling performance. This makes it easier to manage the temperature of a powerful gaming PC. In addition, two 120 mm fans can be attached to the lid to further increase the airflow. With the expanded airflow, gaming hardware can be effortlessly operated at optimal temperatures.

No compromise on hardware
Following the concept of the entire Rocket series, the Kolink Rocket Heavy Vented was also designed to support top-class hardware. Of course, the core of the setup remains a mini-ITX mainboard, but there are hardly any other restrictions. The case offers space for a graphics card with a length of 340 mm and thus for a majority of the GPUs available today. A 180-degree riser card and a suitable bracket for vertical installation of the graphics card are also included.

The I / O panel offers a number of connection options for connecting external components, including a USB 3.1 port of type C. With four further USB ports of type A and jack sockets for audio devices, there are enough connections for additional peripheral devices. The I / O panel including the power button is located on the cover of the housing.

There is space for an SFX or SFX-L power supply unit for power supply. With a more powerful SFX-L power supply unit, the case can be equipped with the best components. The flexibility of the Kolink Rocket Heavy Vented is once again evident in the selection of the data carriers. There are slots for two 2.5-inch or one 3.5-inch drives.

Additional cooling options
In addition to its natural airflow, the Rocket Heavy Vented Mini-ITX housing offers space for 240 mm AiO water cooling. In addition, a CPU cooler can be accommodated up to a height of 85 mm. However, due to its layout and style, the case is more suitable for AiO water cooling than support for the fan pre-installed on the back. The bracket on the lid for mounting the radiator can easily be removed to simplify installation.

Compact small form factor
At just 180 x 256 x 350 mm, the Rocket Heavy Vented Mini-ITX housing takes up little space, but still offers space-conscious enthusiasts plenty of space for high-end hardware. With its low weight of only 3.67 kilograms, the housing is also easy to transport - perfect for use at the next LAN party.
