The WB1733D-I uses the fifth-generation WLAN 802.11ac chipset, which achieves speeds of up to 1,734 Mbps over the 5 GHz band in the 2x2 802.11ac variant and is thus more than twelve times faster than the 802.11b / g / n Wi-Fi standard. Of course, the adapter is fully backwards compatible with all previous Wi-Fi standards, providing both-way, extremely fast and fluid data transfer - to both devices that support the 802.11ac standard and existing devices with previous standards all this seamlessly.

The GIGABYTE WB1733D-I Wireless LAN Card also supports the advanced Bluetooth 5 standard for connecting to smartphones, tablets, printers, headsets, speakers, keyboards, and mice. The fourfold range of Bluetooth 4.2 is available with the same energy input and the transmission capacity grows by a whopping 800 percent. Of course, the card is also backwards compatible with Bluetooth 4.2, 4.1, 4.0, 3.0, 2.1 and 2.0.

Thanks to its PCI Express interface, the GIGABYTE WB1733D-I can be plugged into any motherboard so that the desktop PC can be easily and quickly upgraded to the latest 802.11ac Wi-Fi standard. Due to the direct connection to the mainboard annoying cable connections are completely eliminated and an external power supply is not needed.
