The Gigabyte GA-Q170TN is a compact Q170 motherboard that is ideal for fast quad core processors in the Core i7, Core i5 or Core i3 series. It has two SO-DIMM slots for DDR4 memory, which can be operated in dual-channel mode and support up to 32 GB of memory. In addition to a PCI Express 3.0 slot with x4 connection, there is one full size and half size Mini PCIe slot available for other expansion cards.

The board manages data carriers such as SSDs and hard disks via two SATA-6G ports as well as the full-size Mini PCIe slot, which can also be used as an MSATA connection.
