The graphics chip of the Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 Windforce 2X 8G 3.0 clocks ex works with a base clock of 1,410 MHz and a preset boost clock of 1,620 MHz. The latter is automatically activated via GPU boost if the graphics chip requires more power. The GDDR6 video memory clocks with very fast 7,000 MHz (effectively 14,000 MHz), which is almost 75 percent faster than its direct predecessor. The capacity of 8 GB VRAM enables gaming with 4K resolution or in virtual reality. A dual fan design is used as the cooler.
