This performance DDR4 memory clocks in normal operation at 2,133 MHz at 1.2 volts and latencies of CL 16-16-16-36. With the automatically set XMP 2.0 profiles or manual configuration, the Trident Z in combination with a compatible motherboard achieve optimum performance levels of up to 3,200 MHz at 1.35 volts.

The DDR4 modules have black PCBs, which are surrounded by stylish heat spreaders in this version. On the side, G.Skill uses gray or black coolers in a brushed aluminum look, which are perfectly complemented by a kind of red clip on the upper edge. The aluminum plates are relatively low and with a total height of 44 millimeters, the Trident Z fit under many sweeping CPU coolers.
