Edifier S760D: surround sound for the desktop
The subwoofer of the Edifier S760D offers full 5.1 surround sound. The subwoofer delivers 240 watts of power (RMS) and is equipped with a 10-inch bass driver and two bass radiators, which provide rich sound in the low frequencies. In addition, each of the satellite speakers provides 60 watts (RMS), bringing the system to a total of 540 watts (RMS). Thanks to digital signal processing (DSP) and dynamic compression (DRC), the sound remains distortion-free even at maximum volume. Overall, the S760D delivers balanced playback over the entire frequency band.

For the satellites, 92mm midrange split the work with a 25mm tweeter. The potent equipment of the boxes offers advantages, especially in movie playback, in which much more details can be displayed. All loudspeaker cabinets are made of sturdy wood fiber boards, which are also acoustically superior to the often common plastic dwellings and at the same time give a noble look. In addition, they are magnetically shielded.

Equipped with three Toslink jacks for digital audio enjoyment and analog stereo RCA jacks for two external players (CD players, etc.) and analog RCA inputs for 5.1 audio on the subwoofer, the S760D as a flexible audio solution for the home theater, the workplace or Gaming setups best suited. The scope of supply includes two remote controls: The wired control unit with LC display allows the configuration of the loudspeakers, provides a volume control knob and has an integrated headphone jack. The additional wireless remote control allows easy control from the sofa.
