Cougar Panzer-G: military-functional design with noble tempered glass components
The spacious Midi Tower complements the military look of its predecessor Panzer MAX with tool-free removable Tempered Glass Panels made of tinted tempered glass. This means that access to the installed hardware is possible at any time and the handling during conversion or transport through the robust handholds is very convenient. In addition to the two side windows, the lid and front are made of dark tinted tempered glass, offering a unique insight into the built-in hardware, which is discreetly illuminated by the red LED lighting of the fans. Above the front is the I / O panel, which is equipped with the fan control, two USB 3.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, HD audio ports and a power & reset button.
Lush space and smart detail solutions
The all-black interior of the Panzer-G Midi Tower offers plenty of room for full-blown gaming hardware. The motherboard may have Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX or CEB format in this case and can simultaneously CPU cooler with a height up to 160 mm and up to three dual-slot graphics cards with a length of each 400 mm. A removable power supply cover also provides a tidy look that separates the power supply from the rest of the hardware. There is plenty of room for cable management on the back of the motherboard tray and a total of six 2.5-inch drives, of which two can be replaced by 3.5-inch versions.
Air and water cooling options in the Cougar Panzer-G
A high-performance gaming system should be cooled well and as quietly as possible, which is why the Cougar Panzer-G offers numerous mounting positions for cooling components. Up to eight fans can be installed inside the case, which means there is always enough cooling capacity available for the most powerful gaming hardware. Three 120 mm fans with red LED lighting, which are already installed on the front, ensure good airflow out-of-box, which also reaches the drives behind the mainboard tray thanks to the Air Guide scoop.
Additional 120 mm or 140 mm fans can be installed in the lid, in the bottom and on the back as required. Of course, up to four radiators for water cooling can be installed, which may be up to 360 mm in size. In order not to let the precious components sink in the dust, Cougar equips the Panzer-G with a total of three magnetic dust filters. Thanks to its sturdy handholds, which also provide storage space for a keyboard, and the case mountable headset mount, the case is also predestined for attending LAN parties.
