Corsair VS450: A Fantastic Budget Power Supply

The Corsair VS450 is a reliable power supply and is ideal for desktop PCs at home or in the office. The power supply features a 36 A +12 Volt rail, a whisper-quiet temperature-controlled 120 mm fan as well as extensive protection against short circuits, overvoltage, insufficient voltage as well as protection against power and temperature spikes. Taken together these features ensure stable operation in the long term.

The especially high efficiency of 85 percent on average makes the power supply extremely efficient and as a result there is much less heat produced and power requirements are minimised - a blessing in the days of ever increasing electricity bills.
