The MasterCase H500M from Cooler Master in detail
The MasterCase H500M is designed to mount E-ATX, ATX, Micro-ATX or Mini-ITX motherboards. This housing has plenty of space in the interior and thus the possibility to accommodate up to three radiators. In addition to the classic slot on the back for a 120 or 140 mm heat exchanger, a 280/360 mm radiator can be installed in the front and in the lid. At the front the depth is limited to 70 millimeters, for large radiators a part of the power supply cover can be removed. To install a surge tank or pump, there is an appropriate mounting location on the front removable part of the power supply cover. However, if cooling with water is not required, the Cooler Master MasterCase H500M also offers more than sufficient cooling potential.

The front already has two large 200 mm fans, which are even equipped with RGB LEDs. Alternatively, three 120 or 140 mm fans can be accommodated here. A 140 mm fan is already pre-installed on the rear, while two 200 mm or 140 mm fans or three 120 mm fans can be additionally mounted in the cover. The illumination of the two front fans can be controlled via compatible motherboards with ASUS Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, MSI Mystic Light or ASRock RGB LED. The corresponding splitter cable also allows the connection of a third RGB LED product. Alternatively, the RGB LED lighting can also be controlled via an RGB LED controller with two 3-pin ARGB slots, which is included in the delivery. If the airflow through the side air vents on the front side is still too low, you can replace the hard glass cover with a mesh grille, which Cooler Master attaches to the case.

Internally, there are slots for two 3.5-inch drives in the drive cage, which is located under the power supply cover, in which of course 2.5-inch drives can be accommodated. For 2.5-inch drives, there are six more slots located on the power supply cover, on the back of the motherboard tray and on the front directly behind the fans.

A lot of sense for details
Behind the left side wall made of tempered glass, the classically furnished interior shows and convinces with fine detailed solutions. The graphics card can thus be mounted not only horizontally but also vertically with two additional expansion slots. This requires a non-included PCIe riser cable. The power supply is hidden by a panel for a tidy interior and cool air is sucked through dust filters in the front and bottom. An opening in the mainboard tray allows changing the cooler with the motherboard mounted, but for the back of the tray Cooler Master provides two covers so that the opening and the various cables remain hidden from critical viewers.

The processing is very high quality and the room layout leaves room for a potent system with lots of hardware. The maximum length for graphics cards is a whopping 412 mm, a flexible holder supports its rear end. The CPU cooler may be 190 mm high and also for the power supply offers the MasterCase H500P mesh more than enough space even for very powerful copies. The I / O panel with 1x USB 3.1 Type C, 4x USB 3.0 and a microphone or headphone jack has significantly more than the usual connections.
