With the Black Edition, Cooler Master brings a version of the Hyper 212 in chic gun metal black with a brushed aluminium finish. Equipped with numerous improvements, Cooler Master has managed to improve the performance of the cooling tower and at the same time reduce the volume. This is achieved by the Silencio FP120 120 mm PWM fan and the exclusive CDC technology, which creates optimal contact with the CPU. In addition, the universal mounting of the Hyper 212 Black Edition ensures easy and safe installation on all common platforms.

The Hyper 212 Black Edition by Cooler Master in a classic tower construction has four vertically rising heat pipes for the heat transfer from the CPU to a cuboid heat sink made of layered aluminium fins. The arrangement of the lamellas creates small micro-vortices due to the tunnel-effect layout, which are intended to increase the airflow and allow the air to circulate better around the heat pipes.

In contrast to the standard concept, the heat pipes lie directly on the CPU thanks to CDC technology. This creates a seamless surface with unmatched cooling efficiency. This construction principle has the advantage that the heat can be transferred and dissipated directly. This results in a particularly high cooling capacity.

Strong 120 mm fan ensures a cool breeze
A powerful Silencio FP120 provides the right airflow. Thanks to its Silent Driver IC technology, the 120 mm PWM fan covers a wide speed range from 600 to 2,000 rpm and meanwhile generates an airflow of up to 71.3 m³ / h. With a high static pressure of 2.9 mmH2O and a volume of only 6.5 to 26 dB (A) , the Hyper 212 Black Edition delivers impressive results with an incredibly quiet operating noise. Thanks to the PWM connection, the fan can also be controlled from the mainboard.

For increased performance, the cooler can optionally be equipped with an additional fan in a push-pull configuration.

The assembly of the Hyper 212 Black Edition is very easy. Thanks to the "X-Bracket" included in the scope of delivery, the cooler can be installed quickly and easily on all common CPU sockets. The CPU cooler can therefore be installed on the LGA 1150, 1151, 1155, 1156, 1200, 1366, 2011, 2011-3 and 2066 sockets from Intel as well as FM1, FM2 (+), AM2 (+), AM3 (+) and Mount the AM4 from AMD and ensure adequate cooling.
