Amazing
This turned out to be such a good buy for my first water cooled build. Seemless linking to the Aquasuite software, which is incredibly good.
If you think of getting one of these over a regular PWM splitter, do it. You won't regret it.
Solid PWM fan controller.
It's a solid PWM-only fan controller. Aquacomputer's software is extremely good, it really is class-leading when it comes to fan control. Allows the fans to fully stop, gives the full PWM range of any fan or pump, excellent stuff. And it's tiny too which is great.
It cannot control the speed of non-PWM fans so bear that in mind. Also if you were thinking of connecting this via the aquabus connector, this does not come with the cable to do that. I actually don't know where you might find such a cable which is unfortunate. The internal USB2 connector is included though, and that works fine.
For the really OCD among you, this will show up as an ejectable USB device in your taskbar icons. There is a way to remove it from there that involves creating a .reg file to change the "Capabilities" value for the Quadro, making a bat file to run that .reg file, and then finally creating a service to run that bat file on startup. I'm on OCN and reddit as d0mini if you need help with that.
