The ASUS RT-AX92U routers included with the ASUS AiMesh AX6100 Wifi system each include a 64-bit dual-core processor clocked at 1.8 GHz, which in combination with the 256 MB flash and 512 MB memory achieve outstanding performance. This ensures that the device remains stable and reliable at all times and under all load conditions. Enormous range, tri-band Smart Connect, link aggregation, revolutionary MU-MIMO, and complete security are just a few of the features that make the ASUS AiMesh AX6100 Wifi System an all-round worry-free package.

The ASUS routers each have four high quality external and two internal antennas and support the 802.11ax standard. They achieve a maximum data transfer rate of up to 6,100 Mbit / s. Thanks to OFDMA, one channel can transfer data from multiple devices, improving latencies and increasing efficiency. Smaller subchannels provide 80 percent more WLAN coverage. The Target Watt Time feature (TWT) schedules data transfers so that Wi-Fi connected devices stay idle longer. In this way, the battery is conserved and reduced power consumption.

Using MU-MIMO technology (multi-user), compatible devices can also be operated at their own dedicated maximum WLAN speeds, which means that multiple devices can connect in parallel and the network is not slowed down. With conventional single-user SU-MIMO technology, individual connected devices may wait for the transmissions in sequence, which may cause delays. The 2.4 GHz and one 5 GHz modules support 2x2 MU MIMO, while the second 5 GHz module even offers 4x4 MU MIMO.

The ASUS AiMesh AX6100 Wifi System supports AiMesh. Through this technology, different ASUS routers can be connected to a uniform and high-performance WLAN network. Intelligent roaming between the different routers makes deadlocks in your own four walls a thing of the past. The management of the mesh network can be done via the PC or a mobile app. For a more reliable and stable network, the routers can be interconnected via LAN cable. Thanks to this backhaul connection, all three WLAN bands remain free for wirelessly connected devices.

The ASUS AiMesh AX6100 Wifi System provides maximum cross-platform compatibility. With its bandwidth and signal coverage, all gaming systems, from PCs to consoles to mobile devices and virtually any operating system, including Microsoft Windows, Apple macOS and Linux, can be supplied with sufficient bandwidth and signal coverage.

The Adaptive QoS (Quality of Service) feature prioritizes various distributed bandwidth tasks. This means that for gaming, all game-relevant data packages and activities get priority over other applications and the available traffic is assigned to the game. Depending on the network load, this ensures that the latencies in the game remain as low as possible.

ASUS AiProtection also monitors the processes on the computer that provide valuable CPU and memory performance, such as: Antivirus programs. AiProtection can disable these programs while playing, so all available resources are available exclusively for the game. In addition, AiProtection has extensive parental controls, protecting children from adult content or restricting Internet access through scheduled scheduling.

In addition, the user gets a free version of the game accelerator WTFast, which through the GPN (Gamers Private Network) automatically optimizes the routing by selecting the most efficient route for player-related data packets. For non-Wi-Fi devices, the ASUS RT-AX92U features a Gigabit WAN port, four Gigabit LAN ports, and a USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports to conveniently integrate hard drives or printers into the network can. The RT-AX92U routers also read as advanced media servers and even work with the AiPlayer app. Thanks to the support of PPPoE, the routers can also connect directly to the Internet via a compatible provider.
