The PB27UQ has a 68.47 cm (27 inch) UHD screen and LED backlighting. The ultra-high 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels allows the display of more image contents on the one hand, but is sharp on the other hand. The PB27UQ thus benefits the user with significantly greater scope for his applications than is possible with conventional displays.

With only 5 ms response time (GtG), both movies and games can be latency-free, and the ASUS PB27UQ is much more life-like on the ASUS PB27UQ due to the high detail richness and the true-to-life 10-bit color rendering. In this respect, the PB27UQ monitor is doubtless the best choice for both working and playing.

The ergonomic design is height-adjustable by 15 cm as well as swiveling, tilting and pivoting (pivot, tilt and swivel) so that the displayed contents always remain in the right focus for the user. In addition, cable management avoids annoying cable clutter on the desk.

The ASUS PB27UQ offers a variety of connectivity options, including an HDMI 2.0 port, a DisplayPort, two HDMI 1.4 ports, and HD audio connectors. The UHD resolution of up to 30 Hz is possible via the HDMI 1.4 connectors, the DisplayPort and HDMI 2.0 connectors even allow up to 60 Hz at 4K. Two built-in 2-watt speakers satisfy small audio demands while surfing and working out-of-the-box.

Thanks to ASCR (ASUS Smart Contrast Ratio) technology and a brightness of 300 cd / m², the background lighting of the display is dynamically adjusted to the respective light conditions, with a contrast ratio of up to 100,000,000: 1. Even in extremely dark or bright environments, the picture, especially when playing videos and movies, appears optimal and life-like.
