The ASRock X470 Gaming-ITX / AC is a motherboard in ITX format and has a fast PCI Express 3.0 slot with full x16 connection for graphics cards as well as another PCI Express 3.0 slot with x8 connection. The two RAM banks accommodate up to 32 GB DDR4 memory with a clock rate of up to 2,933 megahertz, which can be overclocked up to 3,466 megahertz.

The Socket AM4 motherboard provides M.2 slots with PCIe connectivity. M.2 SSDs connected via four PCI Express 3.0 lanes, in conjunction with the NVM Express Advanced Protocol (NVMe), support data transfer rates of up to 32 Gbps, up to eight times faster than SATA-6G HDDs.

The ASRock X470 Gaming-ITX / AC I / O panel has a Type-3.1 USB 3.1 connector. The new USB type C port is very thin and can be plugged in on both sides. USB 3.1 or USB 3.1 Gen 2 achieves maximum speeds of 10 Gbit / s per port. USB ports with this standard also support the quick-charging feature of mobile devices such as smartphones or tablets.

For control and automatic synchronization with other RBG components, the ASRock X470 Gaming-ITX / AC has a header for addressable and two headers for static RGB LEDs. Furthermore, the board has an HDMI port and gaming-specific features, such as high-quality audio voltage converters, Creative Sound Blaster Cinema 5 and a Fatal1ty mouse port.
