The ASRock H270M Pro 4 offers four DIMM slots for DDR4 memory in fast dual-channel mode as a micro ATX motherboard with Intel's H270 chipset for the core processors of the 6000 and 7000 series. Up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM are accommodated by the four memory banks as a whole, and depending on the processor, the motherboard is compatible with DDR4 RAM with a clock speed of 2.133 MHz (with Skylake CPU) or DDR4-2.400 (with Kaby Lake CPU).

The motherboard has two PCIe x16 slots, one of which is connected to full 16 lanes and the other with four data lines to the chipset. The board supports AMD's CrossFireX technology and allows the installation of two AMD graphics cards. The board also has two PCIe x1 slots for plug and expansion cards.
