B550 mainboards support all the features of the Ryzen processors of the third and fourth generation, especially the PCI Express standard in version 4.0 (PCIe 4.0). The ASRock B550M-ITX / ac is a mini-ITX mainboard and has a PCI Express 4.0 slot with a full x16 connection for the graphics card. The two RAM banks support up to 64 GB DDR4 RAM with a clock rate of up to 3200 megahertz and can even handle clock rates up to 4600 MHz via OC.

An M.2 slot is provided by the AM4 mainboard. One of the slots is connected with four PCI Express 4.0 lanes, accepts plug-in cards up to 80 mm (2280) and achieves a maximum data transfer rate of 64 Gbit / s.
