B550 mainboards support all the features of the Ryzen processors of the third and fourth generation, especially the PCI Express standard in version 4.0 (PCIe 4.0). PCIe 4.0 is backward compatible and can be used with all expansion cards from previous generations. The ASRock B550 Taichi is an ATX mainboard and has two PCI Express 4.0 slots with full x16 connection for graphics cards plus a PCI Express 3.0 x16 slot with four lanes.
