The German watercooling specialist aqua computer provides appropriate bridges on the dedicated graphics card cooler. This is an excellent solution to two graphics cards together with kryographics cooler (check compatibility list) using active backplates to connect. The distance between the two cards is expected to reach three slots. Between the PCIe slots on the motherboard so a free slot must occur.
The original connection terminals of the aqua-computer cooler must be removed to allow direct contact between the kryoconnect Bridge at the water cooler and to minimize the width of kryographics coolers including multi-VGA Bridge before. Furthermore, the two graphics cards can be streamed selectively either in parallel or in series, for which a G1 / 4-inch screw plug supplied.
In the first variant, the supplied water power divides and flows simultaneously both VGA cooler. Advantage: Both graphics cards get as evenly cold water. But disadvantage with less pressure. In the case of a series circuit, the water flows out the first and then the second graphics card. Advantage: Both are flushed with the same high pressure and the same amount. Disadvantage: The second card already gets preheated water, becoming warmer under certain circumstances.
There are at aquacomputer kryographics four G1 / 4-inch threads are available, the terminals can be distributed for inlet and outlet on the top and bottom of the bridge.
Note: Operation with water coolers without active backplates is not at this kryoconnect possible.
