The features of the Streacom DB1 in detail
Streacom's DB1 case is designed for mini-ITX boards. Especially tailored to the small boards, it is very space-saving and flat, but in addition to these purely practical aspects, it also brings a very elegant look to the table. It can be set up both horizontally and vertically. The special feature of the case is the sophisticated cooling concept in addition to the elegant appearance.
The DB1 relies on completely passive cooling of the processor. For this purpose, the cover is completely provided with aluminum cooling fins and the CPU comes into direct contact with the housing via heat pipes. The waste heat from the CPU is released into the ambient air via the large cooling fins of the DB1. Since the case itself acts as a CPU cooler, it works completely without a fan. This means that the Mini-ITX system works completely silently in the Streacom DB1. The large air inlets enable natural airflow and provide additional cooling for the installed components.
The design made of black aluminum makes the Streacom DB1 a restrained yet stylish contemporary, which also fits inconspicuously into any hi-fi landscape as an HTPC housing. The front is only broken through by a USB 3.0 port opening and the on / off switch.
