A reputation that the young company has developed in a short time: with cool, specially coated processor coolers and outstanding fans, both in terms of smoothness and output. Meanwhile, an exquisite range of high quality computer cases has been added.
The PHANTEKS PH-TC12LS CPU cooler with Halos RGB frame at a glance
- Flat, black top blow cooler from Phanteks with P.A.T.S coating
- Including 120 mm PWM fan with 90 m³ / h
- High-intensity lighting with RGB diodes
- Compatible with MSI, Gigabyte, ASRock and ASUS motherboards with 4-pin RGB headers
Compact top-blow cooler in black
The PHANTEKS PH-TC12LS Top-Blow-Cooler impresses with small dimensions, high cooling potential and a remarkable appearance. The horizontally extending aluminum finned cooling block is finished in black and is penetrated by six powerful, 6 mm diameter, nickel-plated heatpipes that dissipate heat from the copper baseplate into the radiator.
The end pieces of the copper tubes are equipped with black end caps. Because PHANTEKS uses the well-known nanocoating called P.A.T.S ("Physical Anti-Oxidant Thermal Shield") for the PH-TC12LS, the cooling performance of the small top blower is significantly higher compared to similarly dimensioned coolers. Because the nanoparticles on the aluminum fins ensure that the heat of other components such as graphics cards or RAM is not absorbed by the cooler, but is directly emitted again.
An ideal cooler for ultra-compact housings
Because of its compact exterior dimensions, the PH-TC12LS is ideal for small HTPCs and small form factor enclosures with limited space. Even with the fan attached and the halo frame shining, the top-down cooler does not protrude more than 8 cm. The package includes an outstanding PH-F120MP PWM fan that runs between 500 and 1,800 revolutions and delivers a maximum of 25 dB (A) of full 90 m³ / h delivery.
The PH-TC12LS has the typical advantages of the top-down design, above all the positive effect that the down-blown fan also cools down some of the components that can be found around the processor socket; especially the power supply. Speaking of pedestals: The black PHANTEKS cooler can be used on all currently common sockets from AMD or Intel and comes with a tube of thermal grease for immediate use.
The RGB LEDs integrated into the back of the halo fan frame complement the compact processor cooler with impressive lighting. A diffuser provides a bright and even illumination to achieve the best possible lighting effect for fan and housing. The Halos can be addressed via either a matching RGB controller or a compatible motherboard with a corresponding 4-pin RGB header for LEDs. Pay attention to ASUS Auras, ASRock Polychrome RGB, Gigabyte RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light Sync compatibility.
