Icy Box IB-351StU3-B, 3.5-inch HDD Enclosure, USB 3.0 - Black [IB-351StU3-B]

The hard disk is cooled simultaneously by the aluminum surfaces on the sides and can be fixed with simple thumbscrews.

The housing is cooled only by convection and self-ventilation and is therefore extremely quiet, as it does not own cooler. The IB-351StU3-B is due to their driverless Plug & Play installation for novice users easy to use and is therefore also suitable for beginners.

The external enclosure can be connected using the included USB 3.0 cable also to all computers with USB 2.0 / 1.1. Here, however, it reaches only a correspondingly low transfer rate.

The operation is simple and intuitive. It is enough to connect the external hard drive enclosure via the USB connection to the PC and to push a 3.5-inch drive in the slot - separate drivers must not be installed.

The unit provides hot swap and supports 3.5-inch hard disks without capacity limit. The hard drive activity is indicated by a blue LED. Included in delivery are next to a USB 3.0 cable, an AC adapter and an accessory kit also practical feet.
