The presentation of installed hardware succeeds in such a case particularly well, because the noble chassis is "IN WIN" -typically very high-quality processed and allows a fancy arrangement of the hardware.
The IN WIN 101 at a glance:
Elegant design with clear lines
Huge side window made of tinted hard glass
Excellent workmanship & high quality materials
Vertical mounting of the top fan or the radiator
Illuminated LED logo (Power button) & upper I / O connectors
Space for mainboards with ATX *, Micro ATX or Mini ITX form factors
I / O panel with 2x USB 3.0, 2x USB 2.0 and HD audio connectors
Sufficient space for a strong air or water cooling
2x 3.5 / 2.5-inch & 2x 2.5-inch drivelots available
Timelessly elegant design with huge hard-glass side window
The IN WIN 101 combines modern optics with a noble aesthetic. It is mainly made of high-quality, 1.2 mm thick steel and is particularly impressive because of its huge side window made of tinted hard glass. Innovative as IN WIN, the stable side window can be opened completely without tools. Clear advantage! The smart front of the white case is only interrupted by the stylish LED logo, which simultaneously acts as a power button. The remaining I / O connectors (2x USB 3.0 / HD audio) are located on the top of the case, where they are especially easy to reach.
Of course, the white interior also holds some surprises. For example, the power supply is installed at the top of the housing and is located behind a discreet cover. As a result, the mainboard is mounted underneath and allows for a trouble-free presentation of the installed hardware. In general, the interior offers space for ATX *, micro ATX and mini ITX motherboards, CPU coolers up to 160 mm height, graphics cards up to a maximum of 421 mm or 305 mm length with laterally installed radiators and power supplies up to 200 mm Length.
Cooling and hard disk space
The cooling concept in the IN WIN 101 is anything but standard. The theory provides that "cool" air is sucked in from the lower, dust-protected side and blown out at the top or at the rear. A maximum of three 120 mm fans or a 360 mm radiator are provided on the floor. The rear panel can accommodate a 120 fan or a 120 radiator. The special feature of the cooling concept is the possibility to install two 120 mm fans on the side in front of the mainboard so that warm air on the right side is omitted by the honeycomb structure of the housing. Alternatively, a 240 mm radiator can also be mounted at this location. The vertical orientation of the upper cooling components looks really fantastic thanks to the large side window. In order to allow the user complete freedom in the selection of his housing cooling, no fans are included.
IN WIN has of course also provided for enough hard disk slots. On the front of the motherboard tray, there are two hot-swap bays for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch drives, complemented by two 2.5-inch mounts on the back of the tray. A practical support for graphics cards is also part of the scope of delivery, because high-powered pixel accelerators can nowadays often bring a lot of weight on the scales.
