The expansion card can be used in any system with a free PCIe 2.0 or PCIe 3.0 x4 connection, but of course it also works in all PCIe x4, x8 and x16 slots.

There are two external USB 3.1 ports of type C and three more of type A on the card. This allows external USB devices with a particularly high bandwidth to be connected. In addition, the ports support fast charging; the power required for this is supplied via a SATA connection.

The USB ports are twice as fast as USB 3.0 ports with a maximum achievable speed of 10 Gbit / s. Thanks to the use of the PCI Express interface, these very high data rates are no problem for the card and can be used to the full. Of course, the new standard is fully backward compatible with existing devices.
