Long range thanks to external antennas

The two external antennas of the RP-AC53 as well as the optimized power amplifiers together offer a significantly greater range as well as a stronger signal transmission. The repeater is therefore perfect for larger offices, apartments or houses and offers the user, in addition to the improved signal coverage, thus high 802.11ac WLAN speeds.

Integrated power outlet

The RP-AC53 WLAN repeater is plugged into a standard socket and has a practical AC pass-through for further use of the current. Thus, no power outlet is lost because the AC pass-through can be used without any restrictions for other devices. Against curious children's hands the socket also has integrated protective caps.

Roaming Assist technology

Thanks to the intelligent Roaming Assist technology, the user never has to switch between a router and the repeater from ASUS when moving from place to place. This means that the devices automatically connect to the strongest WLAN signal and it does not matter whether the signal originates from the router or repeater. This gives users an extremely reliable connection.

ASUS Express way for more performance

In normal operating mode, the RP-AC53 uses both the 2.4 GHz frequency band and the 5 GHz frequency band for connections to devices, since this allows the widest compatibility with end devices as well as routers. Thanks to the ASUS Express Way, the dual-band capability is utilized to use a frequency range for connecting to the router and the other to connect to devices. This results in a tremendous increase in performance and leads to fewer disconnections.

Intelligent LED signal display

In order to achieve the best possible results and to ensure the best possible range, the ASUS RP-AC53 must be within the range of a stable router signal and ideally placed between the router and the area where a better signal coverage is required. If the repeater receives a strong WLAN signal from the router, it can fully unfold its performance. The signal display on the front side shows the user the perfect positioning position.

3-in-1 repeater with access point and media bridge mode

In addition to the normal repeater functionality, the RP-AC53 offers two additional modes, which allows the device to be used universally. In access point mode, it can be connected to any wired network, thus extending the WLAN network. In Media Bridge mode, on the other hand, it can be connected to any network-capable device via LAN, such as smart TVs, multimedia players, game consoles or PC systems, to provide WLAN capabilities and prevent cable cries.
