You can access your Disk Station from all your devices at any time, which allows for optimal interaction between your mobile devices and flexible working methods.

The DiskStation DS423+ as a high-performance multimedia server
Behind the slim look and the compact housing of the DS423+ is a powerful Intel Celeron J4125 with four cores, 2.0 GHz and a turbo up to 2.7 GHz and 2 GB DDR4 RAM. There are also four free hard drive slots for 3.5 or 2.5 inch drives and two M.2 NVMe slots for SSDs in 2280 format inside.

The matching brackets are included in the accessories package. So you can install all SATA data carriers that correspond to the form factor. The total capacity of the NAS system is 72 TB with the appropriate RAID configuration and thus offers sufficient storage space for home users.

Lots of multimedia functions for at home or on the go
The Synology DiskStation DS423+ offers comprehensive multimedia application possibilities. With the appropriate Android and iOS apps, you can easily access photos, music, videos or data files while on the go or from the comfort of your sofa. Thanks to the multimedia server, these can also be accessed directly from your DiskStation and streamed in your home network.

In addition to internal data backup via RAID system, the DS423+ also offers functions for backing up cloud data from other cloud services. Alternatively, you can back up fully autonomous backups of your devices to Disk Station using Synology Drive Client.
